We worked with Field Works to design an album that would eventually be part of a three-volume series. This 2xLP, funded by National Geographic and IAHI, features Stuart Hyatt’s field recordings of bat echolocations — specifically, the endangered Indiana Bat — as the compositional source material. Those recordings were then used by musicians to create new work.

Contributors included: Christina Vantzou, Sarah Davachi, Mary Lattimore, Felicia Atkinson, Kelly Moran, Julien Marchal, and more. Pitchfork called Kelly Moran’s track, Sodalis, "an avant-garde visionary’s take on a pop anthem.”  

The album was featured on Bandcamp and in The New York Times.
